Egg rolls are a child hood favourite of mine, in fact, I still get excited by the sight of them even now. They are popular across the ages and I have not met anyone who said ” I hate egg rolls” 🙂 You can easily find these little delights already packaged in small boxes from Asian groceries. Better still, you can whip up egg rolls in no time with basic ingredients from your very own pantry: rice flour, sugar, coconut milk, black and white sesame seeds, eggs, butter and vanilla. There are special moulds designed for making egg rolls, some with elaborate pattern turning out beautiful rolls. If you don’t own one of those like me, a sandwich presser with flat surface works just fine.
